HOW TO REACH THE FINCA ?
We live in a remote place .
In the heart of the "Montes de Malaga".
IMPORTANT 1 : The Finca is located at the end of a 15 minutes dirt road from the main road. You don't need a 4 x 4 and can reach it with a rental car without any problem if you drive carefully. We do personally use a small city car regularly and without any problem (Toyota Aygo).

This is a video of the dirt road that goes to the Finca so you know what to expect when you come to visit us with no surprises.
It is accelerated
It will take you 15-20 min to drive down (depending on how fast you drive) and it is a 5 km dirt road.
IF YOU ARRIVE FROM MALAGA
You have 2 possibilities if you come from Malaga :
1. One route is taking the highway A-45 and will pass through the village of Colmenar. This is the safest and easiest way to reach us.
2. You can also take a scenic route with beautiful views (Malaga East). If you arrive from there, you will have to use the bellow directions (COMPULSORY )

This is the safest and quicker direction to reach the Finca.
It is also ideal for those who are car sick since there is not many bends along the road.
2. Scenic Route (Malaga East)
You will get amazing view from this route. However, you will have to take the bellow option to reach us. (COMPULSORY)
IF YOUR ARRIVE FROM COMARES (O ANY OTHER DIRECTIONS)
IMPORTANT 2 : If you are arriving from Comares or ANY OTHER DIRECTIONS, please go first to COLMENAR, as Google Maps can take you over country tracks and you will not be able to pass if you do not have a 4x4 and a bit of experience driving on this type of road.

DIRECTIONS FROM COLMENAR
Once in Colmenar simpy put "Finca Serrato" on your GPS or click on the following link :
- IMPORTANT : PLEASE MAKE SURE THE ITINERARY FROM YOUR GPS MATCHES THE BLUE ITINERARY AS PER BELOW PICTURE
UNDER NO CIRCUMSTANCES SHOULD YOU TAKE THE ITINERARY WITH THE RED CROSS "X" OR YOU COULD GET LOST AND BLOCKED ON DIFFICULT ROADS.
From Colmenar you have 10 km of normal road before the beginning of the dirt road.
Once at the beginning of the dirt road you will have 15 minutes of dirt road (5 km)
Please follow the signs along the way.
