Guadalhorce MTB

In this package you cycle in two different areas of Andalucía.

The first four days you will stay at B&B Casa El Naranjo in Álora, one of the “Pueblos Blancos” that Andalucía is so proud of. The area is characterized as hilly with the important feature of the valley of the river Guadalhorce, the largest river in this area. On these days a Dutch-speaking guide will accompany you on the most beautiful routes and show you nice places and cafes. You can quietly enjoy the surroundings.

You then drive independently part of the route to your second accommodation address, B&B Finca Serrato, located on the edge of the Montes de Málaga Natural Park in the Axarquía. Your luggage will of course be delivered. This area is characterized by mountains and hills where traditional agriculture is practiced. In the mountains that are mainly olives and almonds and chances are that you have to slow down for a shepherd with sheep or goats.

The nature park is also mountainous but largely wooded with, among other things, cork oaks, pine and eucalyptus trees. You have a wide choice of routes that you cycle using a Garmin GPS. You can even opt for a route through the woods to the beach!

The program.

If you prefer to take it easy on the first day, you can relax at Casa El Naranjo.

You spend the night at Casa El Naranjo again.

Day 3.

“Los Molinos” route. A tough route that after a beautiful climb with beautiful views ends at the windmills. There you descend to Carratraca and continue your way towards Ardales.
